The 1973-74 Ducati Super Sport and Me: a Bromance

The 1973-74 Ducati 750 Super Sport is quite simply, the finest motorcycle ever produced.  That’s right, I said it.  Fight me.

Let me be clear, I don’t own one of these, and although I might like to, one doesn’t own a bike like this.  At best, one is a rider, a caretaker, and foremost, an admirer.  This flawless bike cannot be conquered and cannot be denied.  The four-stroke, twin cylinder 750cc Imola engine.  The sensually curved fairing.  The sleek racing profile.  Is it wrong to love a motorcycle?  If so, I don’t want to be right.  But to attempt to own one of these seems the height of arrogance.  I choose to continue to love it from afar.
